Since our national founding date in 1975, Lambda Theta Alpha has continued to set the bar and pave the way as the first Latina sorority in the nation. This is a sisterhood based on unity, love and respect, and serves to empower the universal woman.
We are a non-exclusionary sorority open to all ethnicities and backgrounds, “Latin by tradition, not by definition.” We pride ourselves in scholarly excellence, political and cultural awareness, and community activism.
Who are the interested members?
The "interested members of Lambda Theta Alpha" was established as a group that allows ladies to determine if Lambda Theta Alpha is the right fit for them. interested members are given the opportunity to participate in community service and educational events alongside chapter members. giving interested members a chance to enhance their leadership and professional skills while forming bonds with sisters and other interested members.
